Prior to joining Kenya Climate Ventures Limited, Victor worked at Africa Enterprise Challenge Fund, KPMG - International Development Advisory Services, providing technical sector expertise, leading investment and portfolio management, enterprise development and impact monitoring and reporting of renewable energy businesses and climate smart technologies in East, West and Southern Africa. Victor has a degree in Bachelor of Science, Agricultural Economics from Egerton University and a Master of Business Administration, Strategic Management from Nairobi University.

Gorongosa National Park is the greatest example of regeneration and conservation. After a long civil war the park had lost almost all its wildlife and was on the brink of extinction. Today, it is an example of an integral conservation, putting the people and the environment at the center.
Larissa Sousa is a young, determined Mozambican at the forefront of the education sector of the park. After experiences in the profit world in Germany and Brazil, she is now coordinating the actions toward integrated conservation.
The “pro-women, pro-girl and pro-family approach to integrated conservation and development makes this national park truly “A Park for the People.”

Cape Verde, an archipelago in the Atlantic Ocean off the West African coasts, still is one of the last strongholds of biodiversity in our oceans.
But increasingly under threats. And there, the Maio Biodiversity Foundation is at the forefront of the restoration and conservation of this vulnerable ecosystem. We speak with  Dr. Elisa Dierickx a changemaker and leader in the conservation field. She studied biology at Harvard and holds a Ph.D. in Zoology from the University of Cambridge and her MBA from INSEAD.
She received the prestigious Alumni Change Maker Award from the Financial Times for her work at the Fundação Maio Biodiversidade (Maio Biodiversity Foundation)
